1031 Exchange Accommodation Services

1031 Exchange ServicesA 1031 Exchange, also known as a Like Kind Exchange, is a way of structuring the sale of certain kinds of property so that the seller’s profit or gain is not currently taxed.  With a 1031 exchange, instead of recognizing the gain on sale of property, the seller’s profit or gain can be deferred to a future date because the property is replaced with another “like kind” property.  To ensure the transactions are structured properly, exchanges are typically handled by an exchange accommodator or Qualified Intermediary

Nevada Security Bank is pleased to offer 1031 Exchange Accommodation Services through either Granite Exchange Services (www.GES1031.com) in Roseville, California or Rocky Mountain 1031 Exchange (www.RM1031.com) in Bozeman, Montana.  These 1031 Facilitators are wholly owned Subsidiaries of The Bank Holdings, our parent company and are members of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators.
  • Lower Fees – The 1031 Exchange fee is reduced by $100 for customers of Nevada Security Bank.
  • Individual Accounts – All funds held in separate FDIC insured money market accounts (no co-mingling of funds).
  • Security of Funds – Nevada Security Bank is a state chartered bank, FDIC Insured, owned by a publicly traded entity (TBHS) with more than $650 million in assets.
